The Golf Fan Site - where fans contribute to professional golf

Fanooz [ pronounced 'fan-news' ] is a web site that is run BY and FOR golf fans following professional golf tournaments, players, and news. Each user contributes to maintaining the data so that the entire fan base can access up to date information about tournaments and players which play golf professionally.

As of NOW, there are 22,509 players, 4,628 tournaments, 1,291,732 rounds in the system.

If you do not see the tournament you are looking for, or the results for that tournament, then create the tournament and enter the results. If there is a mistake in a player's bio, edit it. If there is a news item that is missing for a player, added it. If there is a sponsors that needs to be added to a player's profile, add it. If a player has changed equipment, then add it. If you have a picture for a player, add it. That is what the Fanooz system is for.

By contributing to the Fanooz community, users earn community points by adding and editing data. As well, users earn community points by validating the data that other users add or update in the system. With the community points, users are able to access the data on the system and use it on their own web site and for other uses.

It is envisioned that Fanooz is a community where users are actively involved.
